| Well, here I'll post all my best tries to make signatures and other graphics. Check by often, and comment, as it will be updated! Overall sigsOne that I just made. I'm happy with it, except the fonts, colors and placing. The one I used before. Just a plain signature with absolutely nothing extra. My first grunge sig. I followed a Gimptalk tut loosely.. Maybe too loosely. Whaddaya think? One with Voldo from Soul Calibur. It changes color all-round from what the background is. If it's light, it gets pink, if it's black- it gets red! With this sig as well, I've missed with the fonts and the text placing and color. My favorite Soul Calibur character: Astaroth! Here as well, the text ruins the sig. It got ridiculously low opacity in the BG. Sorry Need I say more? A grunge. A signature with Flareon. Happy with the background Stretch pixel sig with Jango Fet from star wars. A Mario sig I'm pretty happy with. I just left out the text, as it would probably ruin the sig. A simple popout sig. Happy with the BG Like above, with other frame and render. My best sig yet, following a tutorial MoNF linked me Or is it really my best sig..? Just sigs... No description! SoTW entriesEntry for SoTW with the theme: Yoshi. I was happy with it, until I saw the crappy resolution... Entry for SOTW: Sprite sigs. Entry for Team Living SOTW with the theme: Assassins creed. Entry for TL SOTW with the theme: Games Entry for VivaToys SOTW with the theme: Freestyle RequestsMatt Holt from Viva toys wanted a sig with Big daddy, only with souptoys "S" eyes Cheezball at Viva Toys wanted a sig with Captain falcon. I know, that the red text is very visible, and that's on purpose. Other workA glass ball following a tut on GIMPtalk ( http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/topic/Glass-Ball-Creation-Using-Gimp-20533-1.html#201173) I was puzzling around with GIMP, and... Look who appeared! An egg on a brushed metal background. Really happy with the reflection. I decided to improve my painting skills,a nd made this abstract painting. THe sun break thorugh after a heavy rainshower

| On that Mario sig, how did you do the light and dark stripes on the background? That would be something interesting to learn. I have an idea, though. Did you make a new layer, do Render>Solid Noise, use a lot of Shift until it was just black and white stripes, use Colors>Brightness/Contrast to make it B&W instead of grayscale, then make the layer either Dodge or Soft Colors, then play with the transparency? That's how I would do it. | |

| You could'nt have been more wrong. I use stretch pixel. I selected a 1px stripe (And normal height) from the middle of the render, then created a new 1px width layer (Normal height). Then I pasted it into that layer and scaled, for then moving it to the middle. Then I Changed the color until I found one fitting. Some invert and some colorize, and then as you said: Fooled around with opacity till I found the one that fitted the signature. Then play with where you shall place it, maybe between some render layers? Or perhaps below the background with overlay background. The choice is yours! | |

Go download GIMP and play around with it. Then you'll know what we're talking about.

| The first and third are amazing. Awesome job.
The second is a bit iffy. The render should kind of blend in to the background, instead of stick out like that one does.

| Sure thing! Anyways, thanks, chew! I did use the color scheme from the render in the background too, but it didn't feel right | |

| In the third one, how did you blend the render into the background like that? It looks freakin' amazing. | |

| Quite many steps for that. Well, I hade the color scheme from the render, and used that colors to fool around, and brush,a dding glow, blurring, blah blah... And then I got a clashing background. Then I used stretch pixel (As explained above) And then duplicated the render layer some times. Then I hid all layers, but the lowest, and used artisitc> Cubism, and quite small tiles (I used 1,6). Then gaussian blur till you can't see the cube shape anymore. Then you play with blend settings, I had 2 dodge layers and a burn layer on that one, and also, some scaled layers, filled with black, and overlay etc etc. Play with layers!
